Miscellaneous Provisions

1.         A current member who sponsors a new member will receive a free entry to a one-day tournament upon acceptance of the new member by the club and the payment of dues by the new member.  This does not include the big bass fee.  The member may elect to apply the amount of the entry fee for a one-day tournament to the entry fee for a two-day tournament. (Traditionally done - formally approved 9/19/2006)

2.         A member who announces participation in a non-tournament club event for which a fee is charged and who does not participate in the event shall be responsible for payment of the fee.  The fee(s) for the member’s announced guest(s) shall also be paid.  This requirement may be reviewed by the club officers on a case-by-case basis.  The officers may recommend a waiver of the requirement with the waiver granted on a majority vote of the members present at a club meeting. 3.         Club members may not use club meetings, club functions or the club newsletter to promote, by announcement or other means, tournaments or other events which conflict with club functions. (Approved 1994)

4.         A person may join or rejoin the club after the final qualifying tournament for a club year with his/her dues, both club and Federation, applying to the next club year.  (Traditionally done – formally approved 10/2/2007)
