TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE PROCEDURES

1.  The Tournament Director will select the members of the Tournament Committee and a tentative tournament schedule will be prepared before the second meeting in November.

2.  The Club's ten monthly tournaments will be held the weekends immediately following the first Tuesday in a month except when a conflict arises with one of the following:

A.  A holiday - Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day Weekend, Christmas.

B.  A Florida Bass Federation (TBF) regional tournament or Team Tournament held in the southern or central regions.  However, members who compete in a Florida Bass Federation regional tournament in the northern or Panhandle regions, in conflict with a club tournament, will be counted as having competed in the club tournament for purposes of meeting participation requirements or qualifying for the club’s classic tournament.

C.  The Florida Bass Federation state tournament.

     D.  A Bass Fishing League (BFL) Gator Division tournament.

3.  The Club's annual classic tournament will be scheduled to avoid conflicts with the items in 2., above.

4.  The Tournament Director will present the tentative tournament schedule to the membership at the second meeting in November and solicit comments.

5.  Considering input from the membership, the Tournament Committee will determine, by the first Club meeting in December, a finalized schedule.

6.  The decision of the Tournament Committee will be final.  Once finalized, the Club schedule (both dates and locations) may be changed only for reasons of safety, changes in the scheduled times of tournaments listed in 2., above, or by unanimous secret vote of the Club members present at a regular Club meeting.

7.  The President of the Club will be responsible for polling the membership on the lakes that should be fished for the next Club year.   This poll will be conducted in October and the results made available to the Tournament Director elected in November.

8.  The Tournament Director will secure exemptions from the state size limits for each tournament.
